I’m with Michael Moore, that was on MSNBC a moment ago. We absolutely cannot let our guard down when it comes to the midterms elections on Tuesday next week. Do not think for a minute that Democrats will win the Congress. We must never forget what happened in the 2016 election. The nation took it for granted that Hillary Clinton would win the presidential election and look what happened.

We are dealing with a corrupt government that has gone to far for most Americans, including average life long Republicans.

My parents were Republicans their entire lives; they were also devoted Christians that would never ever condone the evil agenda of our present administration. Any integrity the Republican had is gone; they have become the “Party of Trump” and have sold their souls in pursuit of greed and power. Republican Senators and Congressmen are weak and self-serving.

The commitment to serving “We the People” of this great nation has essentially been eliminated from their sense of commitment. Republicans have not stood up for our “Rule of Law”, and have ignored the voices of the majority.

If you’re in college, or a high school student, please vote no matter what is going on. Voting is the only way we have voice in government. Use it! Demand a National Day off for Voting!

If you are a house bond senior citizen, please call a friend or your senior center for help with voting. I am sure rides are available to many voting centers in your community.

Latinos, please vote. Your future will be safer; you will all have healthcare, higher education opportunities, and a chance at real economic growth.

If you are African American, vote to stop this racial division and uphold civil rights that are being systematically being destroyed by Republicans.

If you voted for Trump, I understand your frustration. Unless you grew up in New York City, or the New York metropolitan area, you couldn’t possibly have known much about Trump. How could you know? Please take back our civil nation and vote Democratic. You can always change your party any time in the future if you wish. Remember, voting for Trump is voting for The Party of Trump, which has nothing to do with old original Republican values. I am sure the “Grand Old Party” (GOP) is on a deathbed.

All citizens from descendants of immigrants and native Americans must vote to save the freedoms our ancestors died for.

Personal Thoughts on Voter Suppression.

I have in the past voted for Republicans I deemed worthy of our Presidency in the context of the nations immediate and future needs. I became an independent voter when President Bush declared the Iraq War under false presumptions. I was extremely disappointed that President Bush lied to the American people. Since, I have become an independent voter. I find it hard to forgive a President of our nation for lying to the people.

My views are strictly progressive. Old senators and their state rules that prevent citizens from voting must be abolished. Voting must come under federal control and supervision. This Midterm election has proven that individual states are too corrupt to handle the voting rights of their citizens. North Dakota and Georgia are prime examples where voter suppression is totally out of control and against our federal law. Anyone, especially government state officials who manipulate public voting should be prosecuted to the full extent of federal law.

Our younger generation will rule the future. They are the future. Some old white supremacist, or “Tea Party” extreme right wing nut job is going to ruin their future. I believe in them. I believe they care about their future, climate change, social justice and equality, integrity and truthfulness from our leadership. Our college students know what they are up against in their future if things remain the same. College students will have student debt so high, their chances of starting a prosperous life is severely delayed, meaning delayed marriages, and delayed home purchases, if any, delayed business ventures leading to a depressed US economy for many years.
