Anya Morgan

Anya Morgan is a citizen of the United States of America who lives on Cape Cod in Massachusetts on the coast of northern New England.

Born in The Netherlands, Anya emigrated to the United States at a very young age with her family. Close family ties to her European relatives, and extensive long-term visits to her the country of her birth has given Anya a unique insight and knowledge into cultural diversity. The differences of governance and society are infused in her writing.

Travel is Anya’s passion. She dreams of traveling the world. Anya plans to use her skills in photography and writing to document people within the context of their culture, society, and governmental institutions. Although Anya has traveled extensively, she has not completed her journey. Anya believes travel educates, inspires, and challenges us to become better people. She said, the test of putting yourself within the context of new culture is exciting, suspenseful and rewarding for the soul.

Travel enabled Anya to visit some of the most famous museums and historical architecture in the world, which she explored and studied. Anya is a great admirer of the arts. She claims art is a window into the past and future teaching us through our own emotional perception the framework of a historical time or imminent future.

Gardening is the way Anya relaxes. She is a life long gardener who loves flowers. Anya explained, how peace and serenity abides within the garden when your hands are working the earth to produce beauty. The challenges and work bring forth a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment when your plants take bloom and grow. Creating a garden is a form of art; unique to each gardener.

The sea is part of Anya’s life and soul. Anya loves swimming, sailing and is an excellent skier.  Anya would never live anywhere else. In The Netherlands and United States, Anya is always close to the sea and the opportunity to sail. Anya comes from a Dutch family of sailors.

Anya Morgan has a degree from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts in Journalism, with a concentration in marketing and business. She aspires to becoming a writer by using her creativity and knowledge to engage people in her conversations, thoughts and opinions.
